| Due to continued growth we are now looking to recruit a Graduate Project Engineer to work within our company and take us forward into new and exciting areas. Full on the job training will be given.
Purpose of the role: To complete process plants supplied by the company to export markets, especially in Africa and the Middle East, working as part of a very busy and dedicated team.
Key tasks:
1. Understand and keep updated information on the company’s product range 2. Assume responsibility for certain export sales enquiries for process plants - sending appropriate email response with technical questions, followed by proposals, plant designs and specifications. 3. Assist with production of price lists for the company’s products, using Excel spreadsheets. 3. Project engineering work including preparation of orders to the Factory for products; liaise with suppliers to source components and materials. 4. Research new products and suppliers. 5. Design system layouts and some products. 6. Assess opportunity for new products or product improvements. 7. Liaison with export clients and dealers by verbal, written and personal communication. 8. Visit plants that have been supplied - assisting clients where necessary with technical issues, report back detailed analysis of conclusions. 9. Visiting suppliers, some of which are located in Mainland Europe, Asia, and America. 10. Provide support in a range of aspects of business development to the MD.
You will be a qualified mechanical engineer possibly to degree. You must have good commercial awareness and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to problem solve independently as well as work well within a team is essential. |
