Design Engineer - Product Design Engineer - Wallasey, Liverpool, Ellesmere Port

Job Ref. :uker16213 Design Engineer - Product Design Engineer   Job Location: Wallasey, Liverpool, Ellesmere Port   Terms: Permanent only   Salary: £22000 - £26000 Job Details The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing innovative new products and upgrading existing products in order to maintain the market leading title that this organisation hold to their name. You will act as a product champion for all future and new products whilst creating design solutions and applying engineering fundamentals to practical technical problems. There will also be an active role within the checking and maintenance of design and development documentation and work instructions within the requirements of the ISO9001 quality system. The following will be required to apply for the Design Engineers position: * A minimum qualification of an ONC in a relative engineering discipline. * Ideally a minimum of 4 years relevant experience within the Design Engineering industry, however this may be negotiable. * Proven delivery of products through design. * Computer literate with experience in 2D and 3D CAD (preferably in Solidworks) * Sound communication skills with the ability to liaise with all levels of the business. * SAP experience will be desirable. The Design Engineer will play an important role within this company offering their customers bespoke and highly innovative products. We will not provide UK work permits.
