| Commissioning Manager – 40K – 50K DOEA Commissioning Manager is required for a major Civil Engineering contractor. They carry out major Construction and Engineering projects in a variety of sectors such as Highways, Water, Marine/Coastal, Power and Nuclear. The Commissioning Managers main responsibilities will be:· To ensure that a sufficient amount of trained and experienced Commissioning Engineers are in place to meet the contractor’s obligations, contractually and legally. · To ensure that commissioning activities are undertaken in accordance with in-house procedures, risk assessments and method statements.· Provide an important link between the design department and the Project management Team to ensure Commissioning documentation is produced in accordance with project timescales. · Regularly visit site and review/assess the progress of commissioning activities on site.Ideally you will need to have the following: (although please still apply if you do not have some of the below)· Extensive experience with a main contractor· Health and safety training· CSCS· CITB· Confined Space· Water Hygiene CardIt is a mobile position, based in Manchester and involves regular visits to sites in England, Scotland, Wales and Southern Ireland as required by commissioning activities.
