| Responsible for delivering output requirements within their defined Manufacturing Cell, to the highest quality, at the lowest possible cost, on time to meet operational objectives by the best use of resources available
DELIVERY * Ensure Production requirements are met on time and within budget. * As a member of the site Operational Team, contribute to the manufacturing strategy, ensuring effective plans are in place to react to changing market or manufacturing conditions. * Drive operational measures to improve OEE and Efficiency in all areas
QUALITY * Compliance to set Quality Standards. * Ensure Manufacturing processes deliver continuous improvement in quality. * Achievement of Quality budgets in Rework, IMQ and process controls
COST * Implement improvements to the manufacturing process in order to gain productivity improvements. * Manage area budget within agreed financial targets * Minimisation and Management of Scrap/ Environmental waste within the designated Cell. * Reporting out weekly/monthly KPI?s to Operations Manager.
SAFETY * Create and maintain a safe working environment * Ensure adherence to Health and Safety Regulations at all levels through facilitating and planning training, communication, risk assessments and audits.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT * Establish and maintain positive relationships with people at all levels, including regular communication with Team Members and support functions. * Effectively manage employee welfare issues, including discipline, grievance and maximising attendance to reach optimum levels of performance * Through people management practices seek to embed the Company?s core values of Innovation, Respect, Ambition, Integrity, Openness, Trust and Honesty. Lead by example. * Support and develop staff to maximise their performance and potential through use of the company?s Performance Management System, succession planning tools, using appropriate training and development methods.
You will be an experience production manufacturing professional who is able to motivate a team of production workers.
