Job Ref. :uker724 Fuel Systems Mech. Quality Engineer   Job Location: South West , Bristol, South, Filton   Qualifications: Degree   Terms: Permanent only   Salary: Neg Job Details The vacancy is within the Airbus Systems & Integration Tests Centre of Competence (CoC) based at Filton in Bristol and will be managed by the Systems Engineering Product & Process Assurance Team.(EYDQU). A Subcontractor is required to support the activities to assure the completion of development and test activities to complete the functionality of the Fuel System Test Facility and that it meet Airbus and Regulatory Requirements. This was also involve assuring the readiness of the Operational team to take ownership of the facility. Activities include: Assuring Operational and Maintenance Manuals, including confirming their accuracy against commissioning activities. This will include witnessing the commissioning of the facility; Participating in generating the certification documentation for the facility Holding appropriate reviews; Being part of the working level team to manage the commissioning of the facility; Facilitate the handover of the facility from developement team to operational use; Reporting activities on all Projects in a timely manner to the Project Leader and the Quality Manager. Applicants should have significant knowledge of the following: Hydro-mechanical Component design and installation (e.g. pump and valves) quality inspection and assurance; Mechanical Engineering; Operations and Maintenance requirements and documentation; General insight and understanding of Systems Engineering Activities. Desirable Knowledge: An appreciation of Systems Development and Test and monitoring and control concepts; Experience of working in a hazardous environment; Experience of construction environment; Proven ability to work with various teams and individuals at all levels. Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience within Quality Assurance in a Systems / Mechanical Engineering / Test environment. Qualifications: HNC / HND / Degree. We will not provide UK work permits.
